Little Creek Maple Farm

Our adventures around the homestead.

Sunday Night is for Catching Up.

It is amazing how much stuff you need to cram into the weekend.  The lack of daylight at night during the week has been making for some busy weekends, especially with the little ones!  This is my first opportunity to take some time for myself to catch up with the blogging.

Last weekend I tried an experiment with some crescent roll dough we had in the fridge.  It was Sunday night and we needed to whip something up quick to eat that would be fun for us and the kids.  Our invention – pizza rolls/buns.  They tasted great, but just not the prettiest looking things out there.

The Ingredients:

Premade Crescent Roll Dough, Pizza Sauce, Pizza Cheese, and your favorite toppings.

The Process:

Unroll the dough flat and build a traditional pizza.  Be sure to leave about a 3/4 piece of dough uncovered at the end.

Roll the dough up and seal the end to the roll.  I had trouble because the dough was precut into triangles for the crescent rolls and the dough started to come apart.

Cut into 1-1/2” pieces and place on cookie sheet and bake per the instructions on the crescent roll tube.

They tasted better then they looked!
